Farmer’s Day 2021

Farmers are the backbone of India’s economy and a significant contributor to rural prosperity. Every year, Farmers’ Day is observed to raise awareness and to honor and appreciate all the responsible farmers for their contributions to society. In India, Farmers’ Day, or Kisan Diwas, is celebrated on the 23rd of December every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mr. Choudhary Charan Singh, India’s fifth Prime Minister.

Americans of class I – VI expressed their deepest gratitude towards farmers and agriculturers through various activities such as painting posters, dance, speech, songs and via poems.  The visuals of these activities may seem to be coiled within the video, but we are sure, class activities like these will leave a long-lasting impact on each student.
