Celebrating the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the birth god of Maharashtra, means revising the golden pages of history. His birthday i.e. Shiv Jayanti is celebrated all over Maharashtra on 19th February. The festival was celebrated at Amrita Vidyalayam, Juinagar on February 17. Cultural activities were done with a brief introduction about Shiva Raya. The main objective of this program was to give students a brief overview of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s life and cultural and historical heritage of Maharashtra.
