Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati whom we worship first in all the gods in Hindu mythology. Ganesha is known as the God of prosperity and wisdom who removes all the obstacles and gives happiness and spreads peace. To nurture the young minds with spirituality Amrita Nursery students celebrated the festival and enjoyed. Few students spoke about the festival in the assembly. Children offered puja and arati to their favourite Lord Ganesha with their teachers and had prasad. They danced and enjoyed the Bhajans and songs of Ganesha. Students also did craft activity – F Course 1 students did Ganapati making activity with leaf printing and sticking , F Course 2 students created beautiful Ganapati with paper plate and F Course 3 students created Ganapati sticking pee pal leaves. Thus the celebration ended with learnings and creativity and chants of Ganapati Bappa Morya.
