GANDHI JAYANTI 2021
2nd October 2021 marked the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, fondly called as the “Father of the Nation.” In his remembrance, the entire nation observes this day as a Day of Nonviolence. His contributions towards the Indian freedom struggle and his unique path towards Satyagraha were awe-inspiring.
Students from classes VI – X of Amrita Vidyalayam, Juinagar could not restrict themselves from participating and delivering some interesting speeches and bhajans. Some colourful posters were painted to mark his birthday.
We urge every citizen of India to keep our surroundings clean, keep ourselves neat physically and adhere to non-violence.
