Amrita Vidyalayam organized a comprehensive ‘Eye Check up’ camp for students from Pre-primary to 7th grades in the first week of July. The Eye camp was conducted by experienced doctors of EyeWave Speciality Eye Clinic under the guidance of Dr. Pallavi Agrawal, Cataract and Lasik Specialist. Doctors also advised students to keep a maximum of only 20mins per day as screen time, which will help in keeping the brain alert and ensure better vision for years to come.
Prescriptions were handed out to those students who should undergo further consultation with an Opthalmologist at the earliest. A discount card was given to all the students as a gesture of thanks to the school for providing them an opportunity to conduct the eye camp.
