EXTRA MARKS TEACHER’S TRAINING – June 22nd & 23rd
DAY 1
A workshop on ‘EXTRA MARKS’ was organised by Amrita Vidyalayam school for the teachers of Pre-primary to grade 5 on 22th June 2022 to introduce the teachers with curriculum offered by them. “Extra Marks’ is a leading educational technology company which provides new age digital education solutions to school and students to make the teaching- learning process easy and effective. It has a user- friendly platform that automates and brings effective visually appealing lessons to the students. It was conducted by Ms Ayushi. The main objective of the workshop was to observe and inculcate the best practices of each teacher to improve the virtual teaching methodology for maximum learning of the students. The session was conducted in order to make the teaching- learning process more smooth, interesting and easy. Miss Ayushi displayed demonstration of the entire process to clarify the steps. She showed the teachers the study material prepared for each subject by Extra Marks. Each topic has a content section which gives a detailed explanation of the topic. She volunteered to conduct the workshop offline and explained all the features relating to the extra marks in great detail.
The session concluded with question answer round to clarify the doubts of the teacher, followed by attendance marked on sheet. Overall, the workshop was fruitful, very informative and highly enlightening for the teachers to learn the different innovative ways in which to make learning more interesting for the students
DAY 2
A workshop of Training programme on Extra Marks was conducted in Amrita Vidyalayam, Juhinagar on 23rd June 2022. The session started at 1:40 pm and was conducted for one hour. This workshop was conducted for all the teaching staff of the school. The Resource person was Ms. Ayushi from Extra Marks Education, Andheri.
All the trainees participated enthusiastically and the resource person was very cheerful and well- read. I found the workshop to be very useful for all the teachers. Extra Marks has varied applications that will enrich students in various ways. Smart learning modules, Extra edge, Plan my curriculum and what not was there in Extra marks.
