Cyber Security Awareness Month

October month is called Cyber Security Awareness Month. With the increase in cyber technology, cyber crime too has been an unavoidable truth of our day-to-day life. It is our responsibility to secure all online data transactions and important (personal & official) details. Additionally, we must be aware of the consequences if our data is misused, steps to retrieve the same and whom to approach to if you are threatened online or a part of cyberbullying.

Cyber security is the application of technologies, processes and controls to protect systems, networks, programs, devices, and data from cyber-attacks.It aims to reduce the risk of cyber-attacks and protect against the unauthorized exploitation of systems, networks, and technologies.

Amrita Vidyalayam provided necessary information related to cyber security, cybercrime and Do’s and Dont’s to their students. As responsible citizens, let us all be educated to understand the cyber system and lead a crime-free life.
