Constitution Day 21

Constitution Day, also known as the  “National Law Day” or “SAMVIDHAN DIWAS”, is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950. Hundreds of years of dependence pushed India into several problems. The India that was once called a golden bird was suffering from poverty, starvation, among other issues. In that background, the Constitution has always helped us in taking the nation forward.

26 November was chosen to spread the importance of the constitution and to spread the thoughts and ideas of Ambedkar.

Students of Amrita Vidyalayam came up with some interesting posters and PPT’s as their respective teachers taught them the importance of this day
