Amrita Vidyalayam arranged for a wonderful Arts and Crafts Workshop conducted by trainee teachers of Pidilite.
3rd to 6th graders made beautiful Rakhis’ out of satin ribbon, clay and Fevicol. – In time for the soon approaching Raksha Bandhan festival next month. 7th to 12th graders made beautiful Murals on PVC Pipes and Mount Board, using clay and Fevicol. The idea of this workshop was to show children how one can use items that are usually found at home and design it creatively to be used as a gift or decorate one’s home. The students enjoyed the workshop thoroughly and though they did mess up their uniforms a bit, the fun they had was priceless.
The teachers who conducted the workshop could not stop talking about the respect given to them by our students. They thanked Principal Brni. Rekha for giving them this wonderful opportunity and presented her with clay Ganpatis’
