The school reopened for Amrita Nursery FC2 & FC3 on the 3rd of June 2024. Kids were excited as they walked into their respective classes. Parent orientation was conducted in the school auditorium. The Principal welcomed the parents and briefed them about the great vision and mission of Amma. She said that the school imparts modern scientific education blended with cultural and spiritual values. She then informed that evaluation in preprimary is done in a continuous comprehensive method and not on the basis of grades. Jr.Kg Teacher briefed parents about the rules and regulations of the school while Amrita Nursery Initiative : the ‘Parent – Child Connect’ program was introduced by the Co-ordinator. She emphasized on developing a strong Parent Child bond as it promotes the child’s mental, linguistic, emotional development and that a healthy parent involvement in the child’s day-to-day life could lay the foundation for their social and academic skills. Functionalities of the DC Parent app was explained by the DC parent In-charge. The orientation was concluded with a shanti mantra.
