Nursery Reopening Orientation Programme was held at Amrita Vidyalayam on 9th June 2025. Parents and students were warmly welcomed for the Nursery Orientation Programme . The session began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful prayer. Swamiji and Principal Madam Bri. Sharanyamrita Chaitanya were cordially welcomed. Swamiji addressed the gathering with inspiring words, comparing young minds to wet cement – ready to be shaped with care and values. Through a heartfelt story, he emphasized the importance of instilling strong values in children from an early age. Principal Bri. Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji spoke about the mutual efforts required by both parents and school to nurture students effectively. She introduced the concept of Pancha Sadhana as a foundation for holistic growth. Highlighting the importance of mindful technology use, she urged parents to avoid giving mobile phones to children and instead, spend quality time with them. She stressed that the first ten years of a child’s life leave a lasting impact and offered valuable tips on positive parenting, acceptance, and traditional practices like lighting a lamp and praying together at home. The session continued with a presentation by the HM of the Primary Section Ms. Monika on the DC Parent App, explaining its features and usage. Class teacher Mrs. Vidya then shared important class rules and guidelines with the parents. The programme concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, leaving everyone with a sense of peace and purpose.
