The school commenced for Amrita Nursery FC1 on the 5th of June 2024 with a parent orientation in the school auditorium. The school Administrator, Brni.Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji and the Principal lit the lamp and commenced the program by taking Amma’s blessings. Brni. Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji sensitized the parents about how important it is to develop a strong Parent – Child bond. A healthy parent involvement in the child’s day-to-day life could lay the foundation for their social and academic skills. Her instructions were words of wisdom to each one present. Principal welcomed the parents and briefed them about the great vision and mission of Amma. She said that the school imparts modern scientific education blended with cultural and spiritual values. She then informed that evaluation in preprimary is done in a continuous comprehensive method and not on the basis of grades. Nursery Teacher briefed parents about the rules and regulations of the school while Amrita Nursery Initiative : the ‘Parent – Child Connect’ program was introduced by the Co-ordinator. Functionalities of the DC Parent app was explained by the DC parent In-charge. The orientation was concluded with a shanti mantra.
