Amrita Nursery celebrated National Sports Day on August 29 every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, one of the greatest hockey players of all time. Athletes hold a significant and a profound impact on the society and hence, we must be Students of Amrita Nursery came to school in red, blue and white t-shirts and black shorts. An informative PPT that reflected the remarkable accomplishments of athletes (specially the winners of Olympics and Para Olympics 2024), The Olympic games Logo, various sports like the Javelin Throw, Rifle Shooting, Pistol Shooting, Weight Lifting etc. was explained by respective class teachers. The quadrangle was transformed into a sports field and each student marked their way through hurdles, slides,hoo-la-hoop, balancing on the beams and army crawled to the destination. Students enjoyed the day by celebrating National Sports Day in school in their best spirits.
