On 23rd August 2024 , a heartwarming Matru Puja ceremony was organized, especially for the students of Class 7. The event took place in the afternoon, with all the mothers arriving at 12:45 pm. The ceremony began with a prayer, invoking blessings and creating a peaceful atmosphere.
Our Administrator Ma’am , Brni. Sharanyamrita Chaitanya ji initiated the program by emphasizing the profound significance of a mother’s role in our lives. She beautifully connected the mother-child relationship with spiritual values, sharing insightful stories that inspired students to strengthen their bond with their mothers. Following this, melodious bhajans were sung, filling the environment with devotion.
The key moment of the event was the ‘Padha Puja,’ where students honored their mothers by washing their feet, expressing deep respect and gratitude. This ritual allowed students to understand the invaluable role their mothers play in their lives. An emotional highlight was when children embraced their mothers, symbolizing love and respect.
The event concluded with the chanting of Amma’s 108 Namavali and performing the Arathi, bringing a sense of peace and fulfillment. The pooja was conducted successfully, leaving everyone with cherished memories. As the ceremony ended, everyone received prasad before departing.
This celebration served as a beautiful reminder of the enduring love and devotion that mothers have for their children, making it a memorable event for all.
