Children live in an imaginary world most of the time and the imaginary worlds they live in is precious to them. This imagination got a voice in when students of classes 3rd and 4th participated in “Picture story Writing” activity, where they were shown a picture and asked to write their interpretation of it. They also came up and narrated their creative stories which helped them to boost their writing and oratory skills.
“Twist to the tale” was an interesting concept designed for the students of classes 5th and 6th, where students who have listened to fairy tales since their childhood had to reinvent them and present a new version. The teachers were very encouraging and this helped the students to unleash their imagination and come up with stories that were fun and extremely creative .
With riddles and puzzles around, there is never a dull moment. Students of classes 7th and 8th participated in riddles put forth to them in English, Hindi and Marathi, whereas they were excited to solve the English crossword grid. The teachers found an ideal way to make the students seek out new words and also incorporated the interest of solving crosswords.
