Dressed in green, the tiny tots of Amrita Nursery were all excited to take a nature walk in the school’s plant nursery and learnt about different vegetables like Brinjal, Ladies Finger and others that are tenderly taken care of in the school premises. “Save trees, Save Environment”, was the theme for the celebrations and teachers took this opportunity to demonstrate to the students, the concepts of seed germination also. It was then time for the students to engage in “Leaf Art “activity. The look on the face of the students was worth seeing when they saw their creation bloom into a tree that adorned the doors of their classes.
