Guru Purnima is celebrated every year to honor the teachers, or ”GURUS” in our life. It is celebrated on birthday of of Ved Vyasa, who is considered to be the ”Maha Guru”.
“GURU PURNIMA” was celebrated in school on 3rd July, with much devotion and traditionally by chanting Guru Stotra and offering flower petals to AMMA ‘s paduka seeking the divine blessings of our GURU, MATA AMRITANANDAMAYI DEVI. Teachers sang a devotional, soulful Bhajan in the assembly showing their love and gratitude to AMMA for her selfless love and compassion.
Every class chanted Guru stotra and offered flower petals to lotus feet of AMMA in the hall.
