On July 26, 2024, the in-house counselor led a class for all the teachers on “Dealing with challenging students” and “Why children are not respecting teachers nowadays.”
The teachers’ varied perspectives on the teaching-learning process include important advice on building a rapport with students, being motivating in the classroom, including humor and most importantly, how to grow as a teacher over time by learning from mistakes. Through an interesting role play, topics such as how to handle difficult students in the classroom and how to guarantee student dedication, commitment, class attendance, and discipline were also covered. The proposals that were considered were enthusiastically accepted by the attendees.
