STORY TELLING WORKSHOP
Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of physical world and into the land of fairies, dragons and wishing trees. . Keeping this in mind, a story telling workshop was organised for teachers (of Grades Nursery to grade 2) on 20th April 2023.
The facilitator Ms. Nisha Mahek is a trainer and conducts workshops for storytelling and puppet making.
To captivate the attention of the teachers, she used props like puppets and got a few done by our teachers, facilitating them to use the same method while telling story to the students.
She also emphasized on the voice modulation and the facial expressions a person should have while narrating story to catch the attention of the students.
The teachers learnt and also demonstrated oratory and the presentation skills during the workshop.
The teachers armed with their props enacted one story and came up creative name for the story. It was totally a learning and joyful day for teachers.
