GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATION
(CLEANLINESS DRIVE)

On the date of launching of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Prime Minister has clearly stated that every student and child will play the most important role in spreading and promoting the cleanliness in whole India that is why he had declared every student of India the brand ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is such an initiative, in which the participation for every individual is equally and very important. Although the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan needs the co-operation of every Indian yet the co-operation of the students of India plays the most important role in making the campaign truly successful.
To make this campaign successful, various activities were organised to sensitize the students of Amrita Vidyalayam to keep their school and surroundings clean and to create awareness among others.
The following activities were arranged for the students:
Pre-primary to 2nd class ‘ Recitation of the poem ‘Bits of paper’5 & Assembly talk.
3rd and 4th were shown videos on cleanliness, they enthusiastically participated in cleaning their classrooms.
5, 6 & 11 took the initiative of cleaning the school ground.
Rally was also organized for the students of class 7.
Students of class 8th and 9th presented their views in the form of Posters & slogans.
Nukkad natak was performed by selected students of class 9th and 10th.
