Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.

Raksha Bandhan, the auspicious day was celebrated at Amrita Vidyalayam on10th August 2022. The concept of Raksha Bandhan has a much wider concept beyond the raksha of sister by her brother, the mutual commitment of safe-guard, protections, and bonding of us all.

The function started with interactive session with the school children and teachers about the background and importance of Raksha Bandhan. The students were explained the importance of the festival which strengthens the ties between brothers and sisters story was explained by teachers.

Classes from pre-primary to Grade 4 were gather in auditorium for Rakhi –tying celebration. While Girls tied Rakhi on the wrist of boys, the boys gave

chocolates in return. There was beautiful song sung by the teachers to end a remarkable celebration.
