Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most prominent festivals of India and is celebrated with great devotion across the country. Nothing can beat the zest of devotees who await the arrival of their beloved lord Ganesha. The colourful walls of every home and the pandals, the glittering strings lights ,the aroma of incense sticks/dhoop etc and the sweet smell of delicious modaks and other delicacies brings hope in our lives.
At Amrita Vidyalayam, the teachers make sure to carry out atleast one activity prior to the Ganesh Chaturthi holidays. This not only helps children to understand the Indian mythology, but also are able to contribute towards their society and family.
Children learnt to make the Best out of Waste, Eco-Friendly Ganesha, Rangoli, Clay models and various drawings of Lord Ganesha using leaves, pulses, colours etc.
