The Literary club activity was conducted in 3 languages :English, Hindi and Marathi. The students were given the option of selecting the event in their preferred language.
Students of classes 3rd and 4th participated in story telling activity. Around 40 students participated in this category. The children had come prepared to enthrall the audience with a story of their choice. The participants were assessed on content, expression and confidence.
Students of Classes 5th to 8th took part in Extempore competition and it was fun to see the students speak on different topics like Blood Donation, Social Media, Necessity of CCTV cameras in public places. Majhi Shala, Matru Devo Bhav, Pitru Devo Bhava and Maza Dheye were taken up by students and it was a linguistic treat for all. The aim of conducting these activities was to instill confidence and boosting public speaking skills. The topics were carefully chosen and the insights of the younger students were very interesting.
