2 teachers of Amrita Nursery Mrs. Priya Menon(Coordinator) and Mrs. Bavina Marchande attended a Workshop on ‘Latest Teaching and Pedagogy and Interactivities’on 22/9/18 at S.S High School, Nerul. The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Sonali Nadkarni.
The workshop focussed on various methods of introducing the Alphabets, Blends and Ordinals. The teachers were trained as to how any introduction to a concept or number should be introduced through a poem as children will be able to grasp and register it in a better manner.
The teachers also participated in group activities and felt that it was overall a very good learning experience. They are excited to share the new learnings with their co-teachers and implement the new methods in their classes right away.
